    Saturday, July 24 - Fourth-Annual Frisco Family Fun Ride

    The Frisco Family Fun Ride is like no other ride in the country. Our course is a half-mile loop with aid stations so that riders of all levels can enjoy their bike and simply ride without the pressure of a preset distance or hundreds of dollars to raise. You do not have to reside in Frisco to participate in this family friendly event.     Friday, July 23 - Dine In Movie at Hawaiian Falls

    "Dive In Movie" features are free to anyone with paid admission or season passes and you can arrive anytime during the day to play and then stay for the movie. On Dive In Movie nights, the park attractions stay open a little later with all rides gradually shutting down by 8:00 p.m. Those that want to stay for the movie move down to the wave pool. Waves are turned off around 8:30 p.m .and the movie begins at dusk, usually around 8:45 p.m. Guests are welcome to swim, float on a tube, sit in the water or just lounge in a chair around the pool during the movie.

    The reading program is easy and fun for kids to participate.  Kids can earn a FREE circus ticket to any Dallas/Fort Worth Ringling Bros. performance in July and August by simply doing their library reading!  In order to earn a prize, a child must read (or be read to) as many hours as s/he is old.  After children have completed their goals, they can earn a Free circus ticket to any Dallas/Fort Worth Ringling Bros. performance in July and August.   This program runs June 1st through August 14th, 2010. Kids will receive cool bookmarks, clown noses, puzzles and coloring sheets, too!  *Limited to first 500 who finish!

    I Spy

    Have an upcoming road trip or vacation and need an activity to keep the kids entertained?  Together make this I Spy game and teach a lesson on recycling and enjoyment all at once.   

    Materials Needed:

    Plastic clear Bottle (Coke or water bottle,etc)                                                                   Uncooked Rice (Enough to fill your bottle)                                                                         Various items like buttons, beads, crayons, erasers, small toys, plastic animals, etc.                     

    Fill up your bottle with toys and items and then with rice and watch your kid's play and play.

    Macaroni Recipe - Grilled Bananas with Chocolate


    This Serves 4

    Items Needed:

    • 4 Firm and ripe bananas, unpeeled
    • 1 tbs white sugar
    • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
    • 1tbs untoasted nut oil plus more as needed
    • Vanilla Ice Cream
    • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
    • 1 cup of chocolate ganache, sauce, or syrup
    • Whipped Cream
    • Cherries

    Slice bananas in half lengthwise and crosswise so that each yields 4 pieces.  Do not remove peel. Set aside.

    Mix sugar and cinnamon and set aside.  Brush bananas lightly with oil  Sprinkle sugar mixture on cut sides of bananas and let sit for ...
