Friday, September 3 - Dine In Movie at Hawaiian Falls

"Dive In Movie" features are free to anyone with paid admission or season passes and you can arrive anytime during the day to play and then stay for the movie. On Dive In Movie nights, the park attractions stay open a little later with all rides gradually shutting down by 8:00 p.m. Those that want to stay for the movie move down to the wave pool. Waves are turned off around 8:30 p.m .and the movie begins at dusk, usually around 8:45 p.m. Guests are welcome to swim, float on a tube, sit in the water or just lounge in a chair around the pool during the movie.

The Home Depot's Kids Workshops offer useful projects including the creation of toolboxes, fire trucks and mail organizers, as well as more educational projects, such as a window birdhouse, bughouse etc. The workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety and help to instill a sense of accomplishment. The 2010 Wild West Cowboy Roundup includes many special events this year including the Jim Paul Miller Fiddle Contest for all ages, the Light Crust Doughboys, three shows at the Plaza Theatre, Brazos River Gunslingers shows, Wild West Dancers, three-time Fiddle Champion Wade Landry, cantina and mariachis and lots of local singers and entertainers.
